Good looking, excellent for budget gaming... but no online feature whatsoever? Kinda stinks for a console with so many neat online features. Oh well....

Dropping GC compatibility is stupid given how similar the Wii and GC are and dropping wifi is....well that's actually sounds like something Nintendo would do =/

I don't know what Nintendo hopes to accomplish with this but this is by far one of the most useless things they could have ever pumped out. Next will be a 2DS without DS backwards compatibility, 3D, a second screen or a stylus =/

But why? I feel special that its exclusive to Canada and hopefuly making it a collectors item but I really dont get why its exclusive to Canada.

This would have been cool if it kept the backwards compatibility. By dropping the online functionality too, you eliminate... well, almost the entire game library. :/

They should have at least gave it an ethernet port for online gameplay. Im sure lots of the xbox and ps3 people will buy it to play games like mario kart. super smash bros, and other games available only on the wii. While I was reading this I was thinking of Sohinky from from smosh games and how this would be perfect for him.

But it does look awesome.

I like that its a throw-back to the consoles of old but it seems really pointless to me. The Wii has an ethernet adapter but by then you might as well get a regular one, I guess it'd be ok for traveling or something.

If they make it $50 bucks here I'll consider it otherwise........

The idea behind it is extremely stupid, especially with the WiiU out and will just further confuse the average consumer in Canada but dat design. That's what the WiiU should have looked like.

I personally love the look of this little thing, the pop up tray, and the fact that it is pure and simple video game console of old, probably the last we'll ever see.
Exactly what I thought. I would have bought this little thing for taking Mario Kart and stuff with me on the go. But what fun is Mario Kart without online?

I feel like this will be a nice collectible item in the future if this is only sold in Canada, considering the low amount of them (Unless of course it sells like hotcakes and over a million are created).

For the casual consumer that's focused mainly on price and backcatalog games this seems perfect, though the removal of online things like Netflix seems strange.

I personally love the look of this little thing, the pop up tray, and the fact that it is pure and simple video game console of old, probably the last we'll ever see.
