Gamers really want to see Grand Theft Auto V on PC, if online petitions are any indication. Rockstar may be keeping quiet about the whole Grand Theft Auto V for PC thing, but gamers certainly aren't.
After Rockstar's Dan Houser's interview last Tuesday, during which the developer and studio VP said all platforms were being considered, a petition for the PC version went live at Change.org. Started by Mike Julliard, a fellow from Yarmouth, Canada, the petition has since exceeded 40,000 signatures, with a total of 40,188 backers total.
Here is the signer's statement:
In all honesty, we don't exactly see Rockstar denying PC gamers completely on this. The issue is really more about how soon you'd like to see the PC version, given the studio's tendency for PC delays. Not that we're stopping you from signing the petition, if that would set your hearts at ease.
Grand Theft Auto V will be out next spring on Xbox 360 and PS3.
