BioShock Infinite won't have multiplayer
That's a good thing, if you're confused
Unlike 2010's BioShock 2, the forthcoming BioShock Infinite will not have a multiplayer component. This news comes way of Irrational Games' co-founder Ken Levine, who responded to fan queries about whether or not the game would include multiplayer with a confirmation it won't.
While some may be disappointed, the consensus seems to be BioShock 2's multiplayer, while a creative and well-done effort, was ultimately contrived.
On that note, a fan commented, "Thank sweet baby Jesus no multi," to which Levine responded, "That's exactly why we don't have it."
Multiplayer was in development for Infinite, but part of it was scrapped back in August. It would seem then the effort as a whole just wasn't panning out, at least not in time.

That's a happy battle cry if you're confused.
Just so awesome. So many games focus on the multiplayer to drag more played time out of players. I never, ever play it. I want a good, focused, story-driven game, and that's what this will be.
Stoked!
It means they'll only have to focus on an amazing story. Very hopeful!
