Nami's Q was really frustrating to land at first, but it has gotten significantly easier since I've been playing her more.

I'm starting to find her E to be a little underwhelming though. Compared to the glory that is Aqua Prison, Ebb and Flow and Tidal Wave, Tidecaller's blessing doesn't seem to be enough. Maybe I'm not abusing it enough.

Landing her Q in relation to let's say brand's pillar of flame, brand's is still easier to land imo. The only time I found rewarding is when playing with caitlyn to guarantee that first blood or when building her ap. Ebb and flow however is a decent poke + heal, and if timed right, is going to be very annoying for the enemy, beneficial to you/ad carry, or both if positioned perfectly. Her E is rather rewarding if timed right, because it makes landing her Q a little easier. For a support, she has a very defined combo (which can be rearranged btw) R>E (ally)>Q>W is effective when going for the kill meanwhile W>Q is usually enough to disengage, and casting R when it isn't enough. She's a very timing, position and aim based support champion that can punish enemies whilst keeping her ally alive. I'd say her AP ratios are a little above board, and thus is borderline too powerful atm. I'm fully expecting to see her AP scalings drop a little, and for her set to remain the same, with good utility and some sustain to make her a strong and fun support. I love nami.

Her passive shines brightest when she ults.
Screen-wide Shurelya's + Randiun's ftw.

Q at lvl 1. Max W first if you are losing lane or it's neutral, E if you are winning. That's what I do anyways. Her passive is also one of my favorite things ever. It's one of those things you don't notice how useful it is but gosh darn is it ever. :3

Maybe he wants it for that reduced cd?

I know dick about this champ and will probably never touch her since she interests me about as much as bread sandwich seasoned with syphilis-tipped nails.

You should only ever max Q first/second if you're in mid. The cc on it does not scale like Lulu's, hence making it pointless to level up more than once prior level 8 at least. I currently cannot resist the urge to level Q>W second, although as a support, you should be sacrificing these urges. I will do it . Someday. Maxing E first does make you rather mana hungry, but it makes you actually able to trade yourself in lane. Landing Q is a nightmare in the first place and it feels hardly rewarding when you can deal damage and heal off damage with E. But whatever you do with her, she's a lane bully, and she's meant to be played to constantly harass and irritate the enemy. She is extraordinarily annoying to face if played well.

Yeah I level Q instead of E, I find level the E is good enough at level one.

I take Q at level 1, max it last.

My skill priority is R>W>E>Q, but I'm thinking I may start levelling Q instead of E.

ShadowCrystallux I love her too ;-; Sharing is caring you know.

I really like getting the ebb and flow level one, because you can attack them and heal yourself. So if they hit you with an autoattack or some other attack at level one, you virtually heal it off while they take the damage from ebb and flow.

Nami has a much higher skill ceiling than I anticipated.

I love her, don't like her skin, and I really need to stop derping around with her and actually start playing her as a support ... I'm still trying to decide on which skill to get at level 1, because unless they've got an aggressive lane that you can punish, poking with ebb and flow is both: a) more efficient and b) has a higher trade rate, due to you gaining health and costing them some. Her AP scalings are currently pre-nerf Lulu like, so she is borderline to OP. Her actual design is perfect, but for a ranged support she's incredibly bursty. Her cc is balanced and fun, problem is, Nami Draven is just too powerful as a lane. They were turret diving me as Lulu at level 3. Something that really shouldn't be able to happen pre 6 at least imo. But anyway, Nami, Janna and Lulu are so much fun, have so much utility, and the last two are kinda underrated. Each of them have a way of keeping their idiot ad carry healthy (2 have shields, nami has a heal), each have a steroid to their ad carries' battle stats, each have a great disengage in lane and each have a multi-target Q that is great for aggression. OH and that reminds me, her mana costs are a bit low considering Janna's ult is much more expensive than Nami's, yet it only provides a knockback and a 'heal' meanwhile Nami's provides a knock up and large slow with a nasty kick of damage with it. I'd say it needs to be increased to 150/225/300. But anyway, Nami, she's mine kay?

If her Q wasn't so delayed she'd be a terror and I'd take her mid.

However anyone decent can dodge it from a distance, and even if you lead with the AA slow bonus.

Was hoping she was going to be another Lulu. Oh well. Still fun.
