The Walking Dead: Episode 5's launch trailer leaves no happy endings in sight
Just how far will Telltale go?
Avoiding all spoilers, the cast of The Walking Dead is in dire straights. The launch trailer for Episode 5: No Time Left, the season finale, is at times quite frightening, other times inspiring, and all around giving me anxiety. Expect the final chapter to be released tomorrow across all platforms, including iOS, though European PSN users may find it unlocked today.
It's no secret The Walking Dead takes place in the zombie apocalypse, and that the ever present undead may not be as terrifying as the face of humanity as it approaches extinction. It should be surprise then that Telltale is asking not about how you'll survive, but whether you'd put everything on the line to protect someone dear to you. I have a feeling Telltale will explore that theme to a great extent as this first season of The Walking Dead wraps up.
Pick up The Walking Dead: Episode 5 - No Time Left tomorrow, but if you've sat out of the episodic format so far look forward to a retail bundle to be released on December 4. Of course, the full season is also available digitally right now, too.
