Black Ops 2 Nuketown 2025 map pulled from online multiplayer, reserved for special events

Looks like Black Ops 2 fans will have to wait for another special occasion before they can play Nuketown 2025 online. In a quick couple posts on Twitter, Treyarch's game design director David Vonderhaar announced that the map had been pulled from the online multiplayer rotation, now that the Double XP weekend has ended.
Yeah, so basically the map is no longer available for online play, though players can still use it for Custom Games. Vonderhaar notes that the map will be returned for "special events," however. These are the two tweets taken from his Twitter feed:
Nuketown 2025 is a remake of the "Nuketown" map from Black Ops and was originally offered as a pre-order bonus. We're going to assume all of you are as surprised as we are to learn the map isn't a permanent part of the online rotation.

Well I guess I always have Nuketown 2025 zombies....
All I can say is, it'll be back.
("Dude, they should totes rebel, man. F the system!"- Shut up, hippy.)
Is it crappy? Eh. Kinda. I'd prefer it to be moved into regular map rotation like other DLC, but I'm not too bothered by it.
If they put that shitbird in the regular map rotation, I'll stop playing, just like I did when that waste of space Terminal was added to the rotation in MW3.
