Bethesda updated their Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim website with some additional details and a dozen new screenshots this morning for Dragonborn. A majority of the screenshots are just better looks at the content revealed in the first trailer for Dragonborn, but that doesn't change the fact that they look pretty dang slick. As far as the "additional" details, after parsing the text it's difficult to tell what's new versus what's already known.
What better way to figure out what's new then to list the details Bethesda has updated their site with. I'm thinking the dark Daedric powers might not have been discussed before:
- Explore Beyond Skyrim - Leave the province of Skyrim and travel to the coastal island of Solstheim. Encounter the Dark Elven settlers of Raven Rock and the native Skaal, as you unravel the mystery of a Dragonborn’s return.
- Become the Ultimate Dragonborn - Harness the power of the Voice as you face off against the first Dragonborn. Wield new shouts and spells including Dragon Aspect, allowing you to summon the inner power of a dragon to deliver colossal blows and strengthen other shouts.
- New Powers - Discover dark powers as you journey into a new Daedric realm. Collect books of forbidden knowledge and choose new paths for your skills and abilities.
- New dungeons, creatures, weapons, and more - Suit up in Bonemold and Chitin armors and wield Stalhrim weapons as you navigate through a myriad of dungeons. Battle formidable foes like Ash Spawn, Rieklings, and more.
Make sure to check out all the faces of Solstheim in the gallery below. Proper fans could likely tell you the names of each enemy, but all I can contribute is that I swear I've seen the flying tentacle monster somewhere before.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's next DLC pack, Dragonborn, will be releasing exclusively on Xbox 360 on December 4 and will cost a full 1600 MSP. PC players, if history tells, can expect the content to reach them about a month later.
