Five screenshots for the Wii U version of fantasy platformer Trine 2 are in today, in which we see the game is looking as lovely as ever. Among what's pictured: a knight fending off a dragon, some platforming and puzzling, and a giant scorpion. Though the shots aren't HD resolution, it's easy to see the graphics here are no slouch on Nintendo's new hardware.
The Wii U version of the game is known fully as Trine 2: Director's Cut, includes the "Goblin Menace" expansion, Wii U specific controls, plus new levels and gameplay tweaks. Post-launch, a "Magic Mayhem" multiplayer mode will launch, with Miiverse support as a possibility, too.
Trine 2 launches in the Wii U shop Sunday, November 18.
