Bethesda is "close" on new PC and PS3 Skyrim content
Sony's console may finally get the DLC after all
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will soon have the Dragonborn DLC releases on the Xbox 360, but so far that is the only announced platform for it. Many are expecting the DLC to arrive about a month later on the PC, while PS3 gamers are still waiting for the first content to arrive. Well, a recent Twitter post by Bethesda says it's "close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC."
New content for the PC is certainly going to be Dragonborn, but the PS3 content is the most intriguing. Even though Skyrim is approaching its one year anniversary and has two DLCs already available, PS3 gamers only have the base game. Sony and Bethesda have been working together to try and fix the issue, but couldn't promise a set timeline for a resolution. Now though, maybe the two have figured all of this out and PS3 gamers everywhere can soon enjoy Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn. We'll just have to wait and see what Bethesda discusses next.

However by 'New' do they mean Just Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn(Only the latter for PC of course) or do they mean entirely new content.
Nice to see an extra area, just hope this isn't as buggy as some of the other DLCs.
Also, MUTHA*bleep*ING DRAGON MOUNT! I'm sick and tired of my horses always dying, especially since I've lost Shadowmere... doesn't help when they follow you into combat and hijack a dragon when I'm trying to kill it.
I also hope that at the very least (even if we don't get extra content), we get some discounts. Like some serious discounts.
We've had to wait a long time for DLC on PS3, but that doesn't mean that the DLC was any less work to make, and I believe that if someone does "full-price" work, they deserve "full-price" pay, generally speaking anyway.
In fact, it's (apparently) been much more work to get the DLC to work for the PS3, and if it weren't for the long wait, I'd understand if they wanted to charge slightly more for it to be honest. I wouldn't be thrilled about it of course, but I'd understand their reasoning.
All in all, I just hope we get something soon. I've been itching to play Skyrim lately, but I've been occupied with the MGS:HD Collection. It'd be nice to have some new content to mess around with when I come back to it.
As in they always get it first?
I wouldn't really care about paying what everyone else did, but maybe free loot somewhere even if minor would be nice for us not having any DLC. Though it doesn't matter to me because I'm just gonna wait until the GotY edition to purchase Skyrim again.
