Silent Hill: Downpour patch released on PlayStation Network, improves FPS, fixes saves

At long last
The long-awaited patch for Silent Hill: Downpour released on Xbox LIVE a couple weeks ago, with publisher Konami saying it would hit PlayStation Network in the "coming weeks". Well, now it's here, so boot your console now to grab it.
If you need a refresher, the update improves framerate and performance in other areas, fixes bugs, and cures the save game issue. So, if like some you were terribly bothered by any technical issues, now you should be good to go -- it's just a shame it took nine months to get here.

Well the Update was released and installed and it fixes nothing. The frame rate issues remain and if anything there are actually worse now. It also seems like the loading times have increased. If you can avoid the update i would recommend you do.
