Microsoft might be working on an Xbox tablet
A Surface tablet designed just for gaming
Sources at Microsoft are now pointing to the possibility of a new gaming tablet. Unofficial sources have apparently confirmed that an Xbox tablet, a variation of Microsoft's Surface tablet, is currently in the works, as Microsoft enters the initial hardware planning phase.
Earlier this summer, specs for a 7-inch Xbox Surface were leaked, just ahead of Microsoft's Surface RT and Surface Pro reveal. According to these unnamed sources, those initial specs were actually correct.
Right now, the rumored Xbox Surface is expected to have a custom ARM processor and high-bandwidth RAM designed specifically for gaming. Certain specs might be changed later in development.
The gaming tablet won't run a full version of Windows, but a custom Windows kernal instead. Some basic functions like messaging might be supported, but the primary focus of the Xbox Surface would be gaming.

Personally, I don't see this selling well. Unless it's cheap (Highly doubt something like this would be) It's not going to do well. There's a reason why the majority of gamers aren't playing their games on PC's, it's expensive.
Anyway its just lots of potential.
