Gearbox celebrating Halloween with "spooky" skin codes for Borderlands 2
Turn your character into a bumble bee, sort of
One of the less talked about features of Borderlands 2 is the character customization options for players. Various color customizations of different rarities will drop from enemies much like weapons, though truly unique skins are hard to come by. Well, in the spirit of Halloween, Gearbox has decided to share some spooky skins for each of the playable classes, redeemable through the game's "SHiFT" system. The codes will be live until November 4, so there's no hurry if you can't cash them in immediately.
From what I can tell, each of the skins is themed to make the characters look like bumble bees. For example Salvador's skin is the "Killer Bee" customization, and Axton's is the "Yellowjacket." Gaige's codes have yet to come up, but I'll try and update as they're released. Here's the codes, which are also found on Gearbox's Twitter:

Borderlands 2 was released in early September for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game has since released the Gaige, "Mechromancer," and Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty DLC packs. The next campaign DLC, whose rumored title is Mr. Torque's Campaign of Carnage, should likely be officially announced in the coming few weeks. Look forward to more Borderlands 2 soon.
PS: What's the deal with calling these skins spooky when they're freakin' bumble bee skins. This is ridiculous.

Also, the skin unlock items are sent to random characters, not necessarily the class that they belong to. So load up all your characters, at least until you've unlocked all the skins.
