Resident Evil 6 deserves some profit...but apart from that others are just consumer cycle jerks from Capcom this year!!!

Dragon's Dogma is a good game and deserves profit too, I don't know about Operation Racoon City. But if it was as badly damaged by critics as RE6 maybe it isn't as bad as the say, I really enjoyed RE6 even if the critics didn't.

Dragon's Dogma was surprisingly good, it deserved/deserves sales to reflect that. RE6 isn't great, but I don't think it's quite as bad as is being made out in some quarters. That said this article is about sales and RE6 just isn't good enough to justify the numbers it's producing, by a significant margin.

RE6 was 'alright', but wasn't exceptional when it clearly could have been. Faults lie in a rush production that didn't take time to expertly handle new elements ripped off of other games (like Dead Space and what have you). The story was also very weak and 'all over the place'. The Carla storyline and Ada's campaign feature some of the worst dialogue since RE5's and the big bad being some generic 'SUPER AMURRRCAN" who 'did it all for love' was NOT the story that needed to be written. Love that the campaign lasted as long as it did, but the refinement it needed just wasn't there. Dragon's Dogma suffered from most of the same but wasn't as rushed as RE6 was so could be more readily forgiven.

Either way, Capcom profited so they'll likely make more like it in the future. Probably won't do anything with Megaman for a great long while.

Also, Operation Raccoon City was horrible in key area such as voicework, some graphical/character designs, and for stealing too many elements from Left 4 Dead instead of going with a less arcadey and more serious tone. Cartoony zawmbees running around like headless chickens didn't reflect well on the zawmbees we've known since at least the first 3 RE games. It was a decent attempt by Slant Six, but they're still pretty rookie in terms of dev skill. Would like to see them do more in the future - hopefully they survive the next gen transition. Still play REORC from time to time as it has its moments.
