Ubisoft has released a new level walkthrough trailer for the "Toad Story" zone in Rayman Legends. It's nothing complicated, though there is some Wii U functionality in play, but no rhythm games or oddball gameplay. Toad Story focuses on simple cooperative platforming that Rayman Legends has inherited from last year's hit, Rayman Origins. There's also a handful of screenshots to go along with the trailer, showing off how Rayman Legends is just as beautiful in still as it is in motion.
What's interesting, and not particularly noticable at first glance, is that the Toad Story walkthrough is five-player cooperative action. There are the four standard players, Globox, Rayman, Barbara and the Teensies, but there's a hovering firefly named Murphy supporting the team, too. Four players using standard controls and a fifth player using the Wii U GamePad to jump around the screen and support in a myriad of ways.
Rayman Legends is certain to be a system seller, but unfortunately will not be a launch title for the Wii U. Expect it to be released on the tentative date of December 4. It's currently a Wii U exclusive, but no one really believes that, right? Everyone will need to play this game. Everyone.
