From the community: Rayman Legends and the Wii U in action
"I would rather actually play the game rather it run by itself..."
We may have had plenty of hands-on time with the Wii U by now, but last week, we called on our community to track down the console at their nearest retailer and show us some of their own experiences with the machine.
One community member, known to us as "Master," provided a video showing off some footage of Rayman Legends, Ubisoft's upcoming follow-up to Rayman Origin (which wasn't platform exclusive). Apparently, nothing else was available for demoing, but hey, Rayman works.
As expected, the game keeps the visuals and humor its predecessor was praised so highly for. Strangely, we see that Legends actually plays itself quite frequently, and all the player needs to do is tap the GamePad at opportune moments. Here is the game in action, and in the hands of a Neoseeker member:

Too bad about all the locked demos, but if you're curious to see more, we've got plenty to show. Batman: Arkham City's GamePad-controlled Batarangs threw us for a loop, and ZombiU's multiplayer felt a tad limited. Nintendo Land does offer plenty of variety, at least, and New Super Mario Bros. U promises to be another hit.
Thanks for the video evidence, Master!

Also, he didn't sound too biased to me? Seemed like he was just giving his opinion of the hands-off controls but ended up enjoying it anyway.
I'm also not liking how they appear to be shoehorning stuff into the game for the sake of the controller, I'm not a fan of that.. Overall the spinning wheel thing was possibly the best part of the video yet you could do that on a PlayStation 3 or any system with a gyroscopic controller. Not impressed so far..
If you're going to rage out, at least attempt to make an actual case for yourself instead of just being a massive embarrassment. Maybe we need people that actually read the articles instead of making baseless assumptions and attack the staff.
I hope they find another miyamoto... Not quite sure they can really hold it together by their lonesome
