Acts like this remind me that some big name developers/studios still care about making more than money. Those guys generally get my support, and money.

Tried it. Love it. It's quite difficult. The save it gave us i hope it's not hard survival. Waking up to the re-textured zombies breaking your door or finding them with golden swords (machetes) while you have a stone one. I wonder what all 50 easter eggs are. The world looks slightly incomplete but i wonder if its intentional. Some buildings have one door when there should be 2 and blocks in the docks at the beginning are missing.

CTTR champion Let us know if you find one of the Easter Eggs. I'm wondering if they're just a cool Minecraft thing, or if they might have some tie-in outside of the mod.

I'm expecting one or a few to be the characters depending on how Ubi counted it. I haven't had a good look yet due to having a paper round to do and not knowing where to go because i couldent find the materials to craft a map. Been looking at some of the structures and trying not to die but it proves difficult. Even at day i find tribesmen with machetes and bow's and it isnt easy escaping them.

This is completely awesome and I think Ubi ought to do this for more their games. Something like this could stir up lots of interest for not-much-talked-about titles like ZombiU.

Huh, that's an interesting new way of promotion.
I like it. Free, simple, and fun, as it should be.

*Slow Clap*

Marketing done right.

EA, write this down. It WILL be on the final.

Overall, Ubi has shown a great deal of improvement as of late. They're at least giving lip service to reducing DRM, they're trying to shift more of their attention to PC (which they've been really bad with in the past), and now this.

They're really shaping up to be one of the better big publishers. Of course their primary competition is EA and Activision so take that for what it's worth.

Krantos. I disagree. Although they are trying. I see no improvements as of yet from Ubisoft. The no DRM for AC III is one improvement but lets see how long that lasts in the future.

It seems they like to try and make up for mistakes:
PS3 not getting SC: Conviction "Oh heres the first three in HD." No. PS3 users are still missing SC: Conviction.

PC almost not getting GR:FS. "Oh here's GR: Online...Oh wait we're releasing GR: FS now. We will still make GR: Online."

GR: FS DLC taking forever to be added to PC. "Here's an exclusive online pass that none of the consoles can get." and their matchmaking is broken at the moment anyway according to lots of people and the Arctic Strike map servers are dead too. Would somebody tell me otherwise?

Why are all their games taking longer to get to PC than PS3 and Xbox? Other companies can cope just fine with all 3 of them getting them on one date.

Has Ubisoft accepted a money contract from Sony for Assassins Creed to be more better for the PS3? Brotherhood with the Copernicus Conspiracy, Revelations with the original Assassins Creed (FREE!) and now AC III and the exclusive missions that i would pay for to get if i had to.
