Konami promised to fix the issues with Silent Hill: Downpour all the way back in April. Well, it's sure taken its sweet time getting around to it (six months, specifically), but the patch is finally here. As of now, it's only available for 360 players, but the PlayStation 3 version is said to hit in "the coming weeks".
The key issues addressed are framerate, the save game system, bugs in the "Homeless" mission, and various other unlisted bug fixes.
In related news, Downpour is launching through Games on Demand October 30, and will be priced at $40.
