Minecraft on 360 may not be receiving the 'Pretty Scary' update that PC gamers are picking up, but they will be getting something fun for Halloween. The holiday exclusive "Halloween Skin Pack" will be available starting Friday, October 26 through Monday, November 26. Including 55 spooky skins, some of which have capes, the Halloween Skin Pack will run a mere 160MSP. The best part, however, may be 100% of the purchasing price will go directly to charity. It's so inspiring, it's almost scary.
The four charities that the Halloween Skin Pack will be contributing to are: Block by Block, SANDS Lothians, Child's Play, and Macmillan Cancer Support. 180MSP isn't much, but for these charities every penny counts.
On Xbox 360 Minecraft continues to outperform, reportedly pulling in more players than both Call of Duty or FIFA 13 on Xbox Live this past month. The game can be purchased for 1600 MSP via the Xbox Live Marketplace. It may not be as up to date as the PC version, but with the recent addition of patch 1.8.2, it's doing pretty well.
