Notch has released yet another video showing early test footage from Mojang's upcoming space sim 0x10c (sometimes 0x10^c). The focus this time is on multiplayer, and shows off basic functionality of the environment when two players are present.
Mind you, nothing is happening on-screen except two players shooting at each other, but this is just testing anyway. Notch notes that the bot character is a placeholder, and the flickering seen is a bug. The video description reads, "The bot character is a placeholder model, and the flickering is a bug. Most of everything is missing, but it's a start! Also, there's sound!"
Check it out.
Earlier this month, Notch released the first footage for this quirky sim, mostly to show how lighting might work in the game. The setting is the year 281 474 976 712 644 AD, after the protagonist exists cryo to find themselves in a future when the universe is on the edge of collapse. Sounds like good times to us.
