1.4 is great so far.

I've spent about half an hour trying to find a good name for all my stuff.

there's one thing I don't like about minecraft updates, and that's having to restart from the beginning, but in the end though it's worth it. New adventures await in a brand new world complete with things that the older steve couldn't dream of seeing.

I remember when they updated to 1.8 and the endermen were added to the game (I didn't follow changelogs then), and when I saw them I was like. What in the world is that? Of course, I looked at him with the crosshairs directly on him. Needless to say I died in a cave ....

I'd heard they were going to make potatos and carrots easier to find, which is a bit of a disappointment but the rest of the update is really cool. The new superflat options are awesome and I didn't even know there were going to be bats

Very excited for the bats update, is that sad? XD

Anvil's still seem pretty costly, but the ability to rename my sword dirty things will be worth it.
the recipe was nerfed to 31 iron instead of 56.
enchantment costs have also been lowered.
Also whats the source of this picture? looks interesting.... hopefully Jeb and Co have been working on the overworld dragons notch wanted in.

I can't wait for the update. With an update including new sound effects for almost everything, yet more magic added to the game, more food, and new mobs being added It is going to be a busy time for Minecrafters to adjust to the changes. Like it or hate it it's going to be one of the bigger updates Minecraft has seen in a long time. Keep it up Mojang!
