Why would you use your 360 for social media anyway in the age of smart phones and laptops etc? I never did, and know no one else that did. Wish they would tidy up the current dashboard though, still doesn't feel like a menu of a games console.

It really doesn't I just seems it is only super friendly for Kinect, anything else just makes it cumbersome, unless you are use to this style by having Windows 8 or a Xbox Live enabled phone.

Sad news for those who actually used the apps, but I was never into the whole "let me update facebook through my console" thats what I got my phone or laptop for, in which I can do things a lot faster with.

Flash is a dying technology so it was a given that it wasn't included in the browser. Everyone is focusing on html5 form now on.

Hopefully youtube comes to follow that HTML5 form in the not so distant future. The dedicated app i cant stand.

yeah, don't care either way about the facebook/twitter apps... i'm really having no dislikes about the dash, especially since they brought back the ads, i know it's stupid to like the ads, but i likes me some free stuff from time to time

I never used the app so I won't miss it, though it won't get me using IE. If I want to browse the internet while on the Xbox I typically have my laptop next to me, I have my smartphone and if I fancy getting up off my ass my computer is in a place where I can still see the TV. Why do I need IE on the Xbox?

Just what I always wanted: A dashboard that doesn't load.

So many people demanded for it because the PS3/Wii had one that Microsoft needed to appeal those fans, sadly this is not a big advancement for the dashboard though.
