Been a while since we heard anything about Platinum Games' Anarchy Reigns, but the third-person brawler is still coming to the West. Today, SEGA announced that the super-delayed action title would be arriving in North America and Europe next year, in January.
For us Americans and Canadians, the release date sits at January 8, while Europeans will see the game on January 11, at a discounted price of $30 or £20. Interesting. And just as extra assurance that the Western release is happening, SEGA even launched an English site for Anarchy Reigns.
The game will support up to 16 players in multiplayer modes and brings back characters from Platinum's stylish Wii brawler MadWorld.
Platinum executive director and producer Atsushi Inaba remarked:
"Very few games fall under its genre of a melee-based online multiplayer brawler, so I think we've been able to supply a new kind of excitement that you can't find anywhere else."
