Sleeping Dogs free and paid DLC goes live, features street racing, new weapon, more
Free or cheap sounds good, yes?
If you need more Sleeping Dogs in your life (and isn't that all any of us really needs, when you think about it?), a load of free and paid DLC has launched for it today, as promised.
The paid stuff includes the Street Racer pack (which runs you $4 and includes new races, plus a superbike, helmet and bullet resistant-jacket), and the Tactical Soldier pack ($2 and includes an assault rifle/underbarrel grenade launcher and the game's strongest available armor). Can't say I'm pleased about the "pay more, win more" model with the latter pack, but the street racing stuff sounds reasonably cool.
As for the free, you get a United Front Games branded smartcar and T-shirt, plus a luchadore mask. Yep, I told them again and again the game would be an easy 10/10 if it wasn't for the utter lack of luchadore masks, and they finally listened, those glorious bastards.
