Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition gets Creative Mode, drops survival aspects

Mojang released a major update for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition today, and in addition to all the new items and enemies is "Creative Mode." The Xbox 360 version now has a new mode that focuses on building and, well, creativity, namely by removing all the survival aspects. Minecraft PC players hardly need an introduction.
Update 1.8.2 should be out by now for Minecraft on 360. Yesterday, developer 4J Studios, responsible for the console port, confirmed via Twitter that the update had passed certification and would be arriving today.
In addition to Creative Mode, there is now a Hunger mechanic as well, where players must continuously eat to maintain their stamina as it drains per action. The Superflat world type is also available now, along with NPC Villages, Abandoned Mineshafts, Strongholds, and Ravines.
