After playing Dawnguard and Hearthfire, would be nice if Bethesda patched these bugs first. I like playing in POV, please fix it so it doesn't keep chucking me out of it.

And please reclothe my guards.

If on PC, there is a throwing weapon mod out. One of my favourite to date. Javelins I like the best, though.
Does it work yet?, i know most of them didn't work and needed alot of attention.

Javelins might be out of the question (despite being Vikings?) but Throwing Knives and Stars (with the exception of Blades equipment being ninja samurai?) are okay? What?

At Four Aces, yeah it works for me.

In all honesty, I'd rather have a shout/power to become a dragon like on steam workshop than actually call one to ride. But that's my personal choice.

Well from what ive seen, more or less heard, it sounds good. Id really like to return to morrowind, its possible the best, in my opinion, elderscrolls game.

Spears would be a fantastic addition to the game, but would there reach be about the same as a warhammer? Or greatsword?

As for the armour part, i hope it not horse armour, i mean if it is i wont mind, but i just dont see the point of it if you got a dragon mount.. Unless its on shadowmere, in which case, epic fighting horse xD.

Metallicadragon, from some screenies ive seen there is a file called, playstation3DLC or something along those lines, so fingers crossed Beth have sorted out the DLC issues !

Considering spears are thrown, I would think their reach would potentially be a lot greater than that of any melee weapon.

Actually, I think it's safe to assume that this "Spear DLC" will likely be similar to what we saw in the Skyrim Bethesda Game Jam video. In which case, these spears will be melee weapons.

Could ya link me to the one that works please?

Also lokos like Dragonborn could be their most ambitious yet. However a question i have is why the name 'Dragonborn'? Is it insinuating an extension of the story, or maybe something personal to the Dragonborn himself? Are we going to meet a group of Dragonborns or maybe we came from Morrowind and thats why we were arrested. Either way this has grabbed my attention more than the previous 2 Skyrim DLCs.

I wouldn't say Javelins are out of the question just that Beth hasn't done a throwing Javelin before. If they can do it, and make it look good/great/sick then that's *bleep*ing awesome. I would love some Javelins.

Throwing weapons such as stars, darts and knives have been done (Morrowind) and I can totally see that. Also the difference between the weapons is that Javelins are more crazy and unpredicable.

And why the hell would you use a throwing weapon that close when you have Bows, and Magic. You would have to get fairly close to even use it.

Throwing weapons are more compact and for assassination which is why they were so good, and why they were in Morrowind because they love some assassins. If they can add Javelins in though so be it... I would love that tbh.

Melee spears would also be great. Spears were amazing in Morrowind despite there being a lack of any good artifact spears. And that was because they had the longest range, and were also quicker to use than a greatsword.

Gawsh, we're just talking about all the stuff they took out after Morrowind. Spears, throwing weapons, et cetera.

Ah, my mistake then. I never watched that video.

Hopefully that was far from the final version, as the addition of spears would be pretty silly and all around pointless if they're just another generic melee weapon to add to the pile IMO.

Its so annoying that PS3 hasn't been getting any DLC. I hope we at least get this, but we probably won't because Bethesda will probably make both Dawnguard and Hearthfire required.
I read somewhere that this DLC is actually being coded for the PS3 first actually. That doesn't mean they're going to get it first, but at least this will be workable.

But you hear a lot of stuff on the internet, but I've heard it flung around quite a bit.
Well, I really hope you're right...

Just wanted to mention I think it would be GREAT if they combined a spear's two functions. They could give you a spear and a javelin in one! I'd probably find it very satisfying to fight a monster with a spear, and throw it at them a second later.
