Medieval action game War of the Roses has been doing well for publisher Paradox, and so the love train will continue with new content, all of which can be either earned in-game, or paid for if you're impatient.
Next month, the first of many DLC packages will hit. This one will include new weapons (pictured above), ranging from a horn-spanned crossbow, the Hospitaller pollaxe and Heavy Armor used by the Milanese Knights (the latter of which can be custom painted), a gothic mace, plus new visors and a new helmet, and more.
Come December, two news modes will launch with a wintry theme, the first of which is the new "Pitched Battle" mode -- it features soldiers for the houses of Lancaster and York.
Lastly, new maps "inspired by the battles of Wakefield and Towton" will launch, though when I can't exactly say. I can say more winter battles will occur -- specifically, in a December-March 1461 setting, and with a new weather mechanic that makes snow and sleet a force in war all its own.
