Such a pity this game relies on a gimmick console. I would possibly have bought it if it was for the PC and merely used the mouse for the puzzles...

Wah wah, go cry in a corner. Its on the console its on, so quit whining and be quiet. Also, don't call the Wii U a gimmick console just because it adds a new element to gameplay.

I'd personally love to get this and the Wii U, but my brokeness = sadness. Oh well, I'll just stop buying food for a few months

This looks better then I first remember it. I will probably pick up the Wii U at some point, a gimmicks a gimmick.

The sniping is kinda cool with the controller... Nothing too special though. I mean, im sure some game will come along and actually make use of the controller in some great and unique way, but when and how? Just cant see it making a ton of sense for most games.

Contrast it to the n64... Analog stick...bam! Mario 64 comes out and shows the world its greatness - from that point on, all know the glory that is analog control. Fast forward a little bit... Rumble pack... Bam! Comes with star fox 64 and its all sorts of awesome - from that point on, all know the glory that is force feedback.

Gamecube and wii try to innovate, but ultimately fall flat compared to previous gens.

Now comes the follow up console. Gotta do something different, right? Why? Because.

Sometimes i feel like nintendo is a slave to its own reputation. And thats sad.

The more I see of it the more I start to dislike it. The game seems rather average and without the controller wouldn't be worth anyone's time. I'm probably going to bring the wrath of every Nintendo fan boy on me for this but this just doesn't look great.

Hell I'm still not even sold on the screen in the controller as I've never once felt while playing a game that it would be better with a screen in my controller. I really wish Nintendo would just make a simple but powerful console that relies solely on the games and not a cheap sales gimmick to succeed. I like the N64 example above, yes the innovations were great but it relied on the games, I want a return to that.

I guarantee you would change your tune if all the games you were interested in came out on the Neo Geo home console when it first came out.

$650 for the console. The games sell for hundreds too.

Point being, not everyone wants to buy a console for one game.

It is a gimmick. There are other ways to achieve what this tablet does, without the expensive hardware.
I find it weird how this tablet will be used for sniping. If I am doing shooting with an expensive accessory, I want a light gun.

And there you have it. Too expensive. And this is the only game on the console that sounds interesting to me so far.

I would be a touch sad I wouldn't get the game, since I only usually have enough to buy 1 console a year, if I save.

In your country, perhaps. Where I live, its $350 CAD for a basic set with tax, and $68 CAD for the games, the same price for a 360 or Playstation game.

Then don't. Just don't bring your whining into a public place, unless its a forum for your whining where you and fellow whiners can complain.

Maybe to you, but to me, I find it rather innovative. For me, graphics are gimmicky. It look like its from the 1990's, as long as there is a creative story with unexpected twists and turns, and the characters actually feel like real people to me.

I'm 17, living on my own off of welfare while going to school with no outside support. If I had the money of course I would buy this, but I don't, so I'll just save and not complain like a five year old who didn't get what he wanted for Christmas.

The price of the Neo Geo, not the WiiU.

Wow, you mean... like an internet forum about gaming!

Like... THIS ONE!?

Stop being a net Nazi. You do not decide who gets to post what on Neoseeker. You're only whining yourself after all. "Waaah stop criticising this console that I'm keen on!"

I have the money. I have no wish to waste it. All games should be available on the PC. There is no reason for consoles to exist. Their hardware is inferior and overpriced.
