Yeah, NSMB2 in terms of finishing the game was crazy. Within the first week of which it came out in Australia, I'd already heard stories of people already beating the game. I wasn't envious because I was in the latter worlds at that time, but this game needs to last at least 4 hours until I beat it. Also I would want some Coin Battle Worlds and Minigames to last me even longer after I beat the game.

Doesn't mean it won't be in 1080p though. Hopefully it was just something that wasn't meant to have been revealed yet, but even so... Nintendo should know by know if information makes it on the net for even a minute, it's going to be noticed and people are going to start talking. Unless it is incorrect, I think Nintendo would have been better just leaving it up there and accept it was accidentally leaked.

Dragoon: Oh, was it? Does that mean it won't be on 1080p? People these days, posting biased things on the internet that get us confused, then it gets revealed. Thanks for the info, Dragoon.

I don't think 1080 would be all that different from 720 in this case. Games like this don't have the level of detail, textures or lighting effects that other games using modern graphics engines do. It would be nice, since the console is capable and all, but I'm not going to complain if Nintendo decides to keep things as is.

Well, I think Nintendo should stick to 1080p because we're in the HD generation of graphic consoles and I want the graphics to look good as well. Not that I'm demanding.

John234MKWii, I agree with you. It's time they stepped into this generation completely. There's no reason why a game can't be innovative and sport a high-level of detail.

Not that there's much point, as A Person mentioned, I doubt you'd even be able to tell the difference between Mario in 720p to 1080p. Graphically speaking, Mario has never been a demanding game, so asking for a slight increase in HD is superfluous.

Dragoon! Don't jinx it. If the Galaxy team wants to make an HD game we should let them. Just let them.

O-of course. If Nintendo want to make an HD game, by all means...

Well, they could increase the graphics quality by just a little. But, yeah, you're sort of right, Dragoon. Both 720p and 1080p are suitable qualities. But, probably more likely than not, Nintendo will go 1080p.

They could make it 16-bit, for all I care.

Oh, I miss the good old days of 8-bit and 64-bit. I'm being too obvious at the moment am I right?

Nintendo can't do 128-bit because that's NGC, but it could be 16-bit.

Speaking of GCN(the official initialism, I have no idea why), they should make an HD Super Mario Sunshine 2. That water would be amazing...

That'd be awesome. Maybe some new bosses and some retro effects, like F.L.U.D.D being able to fly and squirt water at the same time for a limited amount of time. HD would make the backgrounds look a lot more colourful.

Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess would be the best graphical games on that system. Hopefully Ninty decides to release them as they've both been made 1080p by fans already.
