DICE is on a bit of a roll lately; after a large patch on September 4, they released a server side patch which tweaked the Gunship among other things, and today they've released another which does the same, improving the balance and overall experience even further. While the game is still far from perfect, fans will no doubt appreciate the changes, particularly those who love the Armored Kill expansion.
Speaking more specifically, in Rush mode the Gunship now only spawns once per set of MCOMs; in Conquest it has a 60 second spawn delay. Wonderfully, both changes override any vehicle spawn time changes server admins have implemented, so balance is preserved -- now if only this would apply to other vehicles, too.
Hardcore mode fans, meanwhile, will be able to enjoy an even more hardcore experience with the new "Hardcore no map" preset on consoles; on PC you should be able to use custom filters to get what you want.
Besides that, the patch contains a variety of bug fixes, the most pertinent pertaining to knife kills (previously two or more people couldn't knife different enemies at the same time) and crashing upon loading.
