You get Double XP when you download the map which you get from pre-ordering from anywhere.

Where's my Grid or Summit 2025? Nuketown has to be the second worst map in BO after Array. Seriously, apart from Combat Training, why on earth do people love this stupid map so much?

Some may know that i thought black ops was the video gaming equivelant of remembering repressed child mollestation but i did like Nuketown. It was very difficult for people to try the whole ghost/blackbird camping thing and Blackbirds were kinda useless anyway. It was fun watching people using actual movement and shooting skills rather than camping for magical rediculously powerful UAV's again. It was annoying sure but it was a simple and honest map and IF you managed not to get spawn killed then it was a good laugh. Gun skill counted over which ghost could get the first blackbird.

Thats why i liked it anyway. Never a dull moment unlike the rest of the entire multiplayer.

I totally accept people hating it though, the spawns could be rediculous. I perhaps only liked it because the rest of the game was so bad. Firing range and Radiation were the only genuinly good maps which i was happy to play i that game.

Nuketown was map where I felt all the spawn issues and all the pacing issues were added as part of the design, it was built to keep you on your toes as the spawns literally flipped every 5-10 seconds and I didn't mind that.. What I liked most about Nuketown was that it was the only map on the rotation that didn't take itself seriously and it didn't expect gamers to take it seriously either, it was CoD's closest attempt at making a map that would fit in Unreal Tournament and it was fun for that reason I just hope Nuketown 2025 feels similar..

I don't mind playing it now and then, it could be fun. Especially when you're running around like a mad man *bleep*ing shit up. But for the most part, it was just infested with Ghost (why, it's Nuketown, you're always seen and the map is screaming for Flak Jacket Pro with Tac Mask/Marathon Pro) just head glitching out of one of the two stories or behind the jeep on the side for their killstreaks. At least that's how Dom got played. Rarely played the map on TDM or FFA as I always got put in those games on that map late, and that isn't a nice map to be put on late in a game.

But yeah, I really don't understand this whole 'thing' about it when there are better maps out there.

Hi guys,
Ok, long-ish story. My nan works at sainsburys. She has "pre-ordered" black ops 2 for me. It cost her £3.However, I am worried that this just means she is reserving a copy, rather than getting the nuketown 2025 with it, because it is a different kind of pre-order. Or is it just that people who have preordered get a different copy with the map. I am not sure!
I'm sorry if this question doesn't make sense, but could someone clear it up for me???
Thanks

In my experience, the majority of stores only need a minimum down payment for a pre-order. It's just so they know how many copies to reserve. I'd say you're safe in getting the pre-order bonus, but it wouldn't hurt to just call the store and confirm.
