Nintendo unveils new 3DS XL designs and bundles for Japan, based on Monster Hunter and others
There's also one for Animal Crossing and Super Mario Bros.
If you're in love with the 3DS and wouldn't mind importing, Nintendo today announced three new 3DS XL bundles for their Japanese consumers. Two of these feature special cases inspired by New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Animal Crossing 3DS, while the third is an all-black XL for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.
It's pretty easy to tell which 3DS belongs to which game. The Super Mario Bros. model is bright red, with little images from the Mario universe. The Animal Crossing 3DS shares a similar design, only in white with multicolored icons. Both are incredibly colorful, but hey, some folks like to stand out as much as possible.
The Animal Crossing bundle will be releasing November 8, then a week after, the New Super Mario Bros. bundle will be out. If you're more interested in Monster Hunter, that 3DS package is due November 1 in Japan.
