They really want you to work for it, eh? 90 minutes of your time is quite a bit just for that. Unless you were going to watch the debates regardless.

Haha. It's funny how the originally told people to go vote then go play Halo 4. They are basically sticking to what they originally said. I can see myself turning it on on XBL while I am watching my regular scheduled programming.

Yeah, most people are going to tune in for the stuff, and completely ignore the debates.

I'm not into politics myself, since so far as I'm concerned It's all "Half truth, half truth, future broken promise this, future broken promise that, waffling about for a while, news that positively portrays their party, news that negatively portrays opponent, etc". I just don't like politics (and bureaucracy in general).

Heh, i love the comments. Politics is one of the only things that people can express ignorance of and it's a point of pride, something that those who express said ignorance can receive validation for. Yeah, a lot of politics is bullshit, but it's that sort of antipathy that should motivate you to pay more attention. If you distrust our officials, it's your civic duty to express that distrust and participate in our politics, because if you did, maybe we wouldn't have such shitty officials.

Should include a mandatory quiz. You want your people paying attention to politics, ensure that they are.

lol, I'm not sure if I will even waste my time "pretending" to watch the debates... Honesstly I could care less about politics as no matter how you see it the common persons vote has no effect on who actually wins the spot. So why support a cause you don't agree with just for a free thing you won't use?

Though it is a neat way to try and get people more involved with things and I do like the idea behind it...

While I agree that us americans do need to pay attention to what the candidates say and (say they) want, is this really a good way to encourage it?
