FIFA Soccer 13 is making its big break outside of North America today with its international launch, but even on our shores it's already outperformed the previous entry in the series. Unfortunately, Wii fans have discovered they may as well have stuck with playing FIFA 12 on their platform, because comparisons from sites like Nintendo-Gamer have revealed that FIFA 13 for the Wii is pretty much the exact same title as its predecessor.
Oh, but the roster was updated of course, as well as some UI elements! That the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the title avoided this pitfall thanks to their new features perhaps demonstrates the lack of enthusiasm on EA's part over Nintendo's retiring console platform. The good news is that the Wii U version of FIFA 13 is expected to be closer to the PS3 and Xbox 360 releases, though even then it will be lacking a few features like Ultimate Team mode.
