A look at World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, levels 1-10
Part one of our Mists of Pandaria review starts on the Wandering Isle
Considering starting fresh with World of Warcraft's latest expansion, Mists of Pandaria? Check out Part 1 of our review for the title, which covers the game's starting area for the new Pandaren race. The Wandering Isle starts new players off on the right foot by providing a unique experience for levels 1-10 (give or take), before pushing characters into the cold, unforgiving grind of levels 10-90. Yes, there are now 90 levels of content available with the latest levels added in Mists of Pandaria.
Look forward to further portions of the review in coming weeks, as we plan to cover the new Monk class, levels 85-90 on the new continent of Pandaria, the pet battle system, and potentially the new end-game. It's a lot of ground to cover, so we won't be rushing them out the door, but we're excited about creating a full review that covers all aspects of the MMO expansion.
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria released earlier this week on September 25, and is available solely on the PC. Mists is the fourth expansion for the MMO, which launched in late 2004 -- almost 8 years ago -- and is still going strong with over 9 million subscribers in the world.
"What Mists of Pandaria's starting area lacks in urgency and intensity -- feelings that carried the goblin and worgen areas during Deathwing's reawakening -- it makes up for with wonder and charm."
