Original Carmageddon game revived digitally

The original car carnage game Carmageddon is now available on GOG, so you can relive the glory days for $10 and not have to mess around trying to get it to work on Windows 7 (they've already done that for you).

The release includes the "Splat Pack" add-on, plus a tips book, soundtrack, concept art, and even papercraft cars fer godsakes.

Described as "the racing game for the chemically imbalanced", Carmageddon lets you run over peds, cows, football players, grandmas, cops, and a bunch of other expendable creatures. In its heyday at least, controls were simple and well-designed.
