Exclusive Assassin's Creed 'Ezio Trilogy' coming to PS3, Altair remains console neutral
A mid-November release just in time for the holiday sales
PlayStation 3 console owners be proud, Sony has nabbed initial exclusivity for the Assassin's Creed "Ezio's Trilogy" release. The package includes Assassin's Creed 2 and its DLC, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and the latest title in the franchise, Assassin's Creed: Revelations. This one, two, three punch of more Assassin's Creed than anyone can rightly need will be available November 13 for $39.99, just a few weeks after Assassin's Creed 3's release on October 30.
From Florence, to the Vatican City, through Rome and into Constantinople, Ezio's journey spans a lifespan, though to Desmond it's only a few sessions in the Animus. If the previous sentence didn't confuse you, then you've either played the franchise already or you're crazy enough for it to be right up your alley. Assassin's Creed is a convoluted story, but this trilogy should be plenty to catch up gamers that haven't experienced the franchise yet.
With the hype building for Assassin's Creed 3 and the new assassin Connor, it's surprising this trilogy isn't being released prior to October 30, so fans might remind themselves of the events leading up to the sequel. Still, this is a solid package and PS3 fans should be excited for it to be available to them. Maybe Xbox 360 and PC fans can hope for a port closer to the winter holidays. Assassin's Creed "Ezio Trilogy" releases November 13.

But then again, this is an "Ezio Trilogy", might not be included.
Still, 40 bucks for 3 games, sounds like a sweet deal, I'm sure AC3 sparks a lot of interest because of the American Revolution setting, and whatnot, it seems like a nice business oppertunity to sell this trilogy not long after that, incase people got interested with AC3, and would like to play previouse installments to see the backstories a bit more.
Would be even more sweet if AC1 is an extra on the Revelations disc.
Not sure if 360 had that aswell, but since I have it on PS3, it was defitinely on the Blu-Ray, Sure is surprising how much space the Blu Ray can handle.
I have no need to buy this collection, but it would be awesome with AC1 was still part of it.
