New screenshots of Halo 4's newest revealed multiplayer mode, "Dominion," have surfaced, and they're pretty darn gorgeous.
Unveiled a few days ago by 343i, the new mode is a unique take on the familiar "Conquest" concept. Every map houses three unoccupied bases, which players must then capture to win points. If a team holds a base long enough, it may be resupplied, earning additional points over time.
Sounds easy, right? Well, you'll have to deal with the defenses around these bases, too. Once a team holds said base long enough, defensive emplacements will appear, including anti-personnel turrets, shield doors, holographic vehicle deployment stations, and other obstacles that make life more difficult for competing teams. These armed bases take longer to capture, but their defenses transfer even when a new team holds influence.
Check out the screenshots -- dig the armor, too.
