Sony has confirmed that the PS2 Classic release of Grand Theft Auto 3 is due this week.
A launch on the US PlayStation Store tomorrow was only confirmed, but a European release date and pricing should be announced by Sony's EU division soon.
Due to an "an unforeseen complication", the re-release for the iconic title has been delayed since the closing stages of July. The aforementioned issue was apparently due to obtaining clearance for a "certain audio track" in the game.
The PSN version of GTA 3 will set you back $9.99, and it should be noted that this is just a re-release, meaning you won't see a lick of HD visuals or Trophy support.
