"To make Steam games more fun to play in your living room."

Looks like we've got ourselves the next gen Console winners here.

This again?

Steam was built on PC, all I envisage this being is a cheap gaming PC built on having Steam ported to being an OS.

Unfortunately some games such as those under the Games for Windows LIVE branding will only have an official XBOX game controller (unless you used a load of third party software), alongside that, Valve would have to get the game ported to match their OS, unless they build it upon Windows CE or something.

harbin91 - My guess is that, if it really is a console, it will be just a cheap gaming PC. Likely it will use some form of Windows OS though (they might work out a bulk license deal).

It might just be some sort of box for SteamTV or whatever it's called, so you can stream your video and M+KB/Gamepad controls.

Am I the only one seeing the possibility of an OUYA/Steam hybrid console to be released within the next 12 months?
