Okami HD will be digital only, budget priced

A disappointment to some
For those hoping to acquire the updated Okami HD through traditional means complete with a gorgeous box and artwork, I have to let you down: the game will be released through PlayStation Network only.
Disappointing as it may be, from a business standpoint this is entirely logical. Given how little the original game sold, it's perhaps a wonder this project is seeing the light of day again to begin with; going digital only frees Capcom of considerable risk, and perhaps also affords them the option to go with a low budget price, which is now confirmed at $20.
Okami HD launches this autumn with support for PlayStation Move and trophies.

Can't wait to play this game. I never played it on the PS2.

Any word on a release date though? I don't care if it's digital only. I'm buying it either way.

All I heard is October.

I kind of figured it would be digital only. I might download it if I have the money sometime.
