What I heard is they sold exclusive hosting rights to IGN. Could just be a rumor though... but they did something similar with their 2011 E3 Fox Engine demo.

So what you're saying is... just remix it slightly and rehost?

It's NOT the same snake as the one in MGS4! Whoever wrote this article needs to get their facts straight. This is Big Boss, MGS4 is Solid Snake.

Unlikely its the flight of the Valkyrie . There the actual song from Morricone used in mgs4 and the early mins of this trailer . Who knows maybe they only have a deal for mgs4 .

@ Wes Not necessarily true. You might notice a lot of mirroring going on in the demo, which could mean... well, it could mean a lot of things. Could be Solid Snake, could be Solidus Snake, could be a different Snake... Kojima hasn't clarified yet.

Edit: Ehh, the more I read into it, the more I think I'm wrong. Probably Big Boss.

It might be, but they also played "Here's to You" in the trailer.

It's possible that it's being taken down over that, but that would be a bit strange considering the song was in MGS4.

It is Big Boss, first, they are talking about Mother Base, which is the base that you build up with Big Boss and Miller in Peace Walker, secondly, the guy comunicating with Snake IS Miller, Solid Snake knows Miller when he is young, so no eye-patch thingy on him, they are talking about Paz and Chico, both characters appear on Peace Walker. Solidus Snake's patch is on the left eye, whereas Big Boss is on the right one (like shown in the trailer) Also, you can see the Militaries Sans Frontiers (spelling?) logo on Snake's suit and FOX in those other guys, both units founded by Big Boss and to which Snake never belonged to (he belonged to FOXHOUND)

So, it is definetively Big Boss... What I wonder is that if this is a prologue to MGS5, then are we going to play as Big Boss on it or maybe a young Solid Snake?

This is a direct sequel to Peacewalker. It's Big Boss talking to Miller about Paz and Chico. That's Chico in the cage. Here's To You song in the ending credits of MGS4 is a remix/remake. In the Ground Zeroes trailer, the Here's To You song being played is the original version.

Then care to explain the eye patch?

Chances are its the music, wasn't there an issue with the MGS theme sounding like another song a while back? I find it hard to believe they would just assume they can re-use a song just because the used it before knowing theres a chance for a law suite but who knows.
