Konami has announced the release dates for Pro Evolution Soccer 2013.
The series' umpteenth football installment will launch on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on September 20 in North America. European regions will receive the game a day later. PES 2013's Wii, 3DS, PS2 and PSP versions will arrive at a later date.
The release date marks the first time the Pro Evolution Soccer series will launch before the FIFA franchise in 9 years. It was previously rumored that the title would launch two weeks before FIFA 13.
Meanwhile, Konami has announced a pre-order incentive in the form of a limited UEFA Champions League steelbook edition. It contains an exclusive DLC code to redeem the "Historic UEFA Champions League Match Balls used in the competition and other official elements.”
In addition, fans based in the UK can pre-order and receive a "Manchester United-themed steelbook edition for pre-orders, boasting the club’s livery on its cover.”
