FBI, why do you try to say you don't have those files. Denying just makes it more likely in my book. Stupid American government has a cover up for everything. T_T

Think we have a decent idea of who is what given The Next Web has made a tool for those first million publicly disclosed. If it was a fraud it's doubtful other security companies would have made web apps to check against the DB.

https://shouldichangemypassword.com/adhoc.php?id=1 is an example of one out there using SSL

Given people are paranoid right now it's a hit and miss batch of people confirming their ID's or not.12m is a lot but it's not the entire community nor is it even a fraction of the North American users that would be impacted.

the good old jerks versus liars game.

the catch is that no one knows who is what and that they play with things that shouldn't be tossed around with.

Aye, there was a thing to keep that from happening to Sony too but we all know that thing might as well not have been there.

Wow i scared for the 12 million supposvly taken UDIDS cause that could contain someone life. Actually all of the person's life is said to be connected to it. Leading to identity theft and many other identity issues. I am scared to use the iPhone now. I wondering how a hacker got into FBI files, isnt there a thing that keeps that from happening?

Peace my friends,

I wonder how long it'll take before people only read the title, skip everything else and immediately start a flamewar between Mac and PC?

I also fail to see how exactly this is news related but whatever, Neo isn't just a gaming site after all.
Given that iOS forums like Rage of Bahamut have beaten traditional forums into the next world in recent months we're giving a bit of extra attention to the userbase. On top of that we've always catered to Hardware and Gaming throughout the entire history of the site.

Also it has a lot to do with Apple given it's customer data and we're spreading awareness to an issue or at least possibility if we take the denials into play. It's like Sony getting hacked and people responding the hijacked user accounts have nothing to do with them at all. Still sensitive user data regardless.

glad i dont own an apple
This article really has nothing to do with Apple, except for the fact that the ID's belong to Apple phones.

If the source is correct, these IDs were collected by someone who wasn't apart of apple. As stated at the end of the article, this is information that can also be acquired through CISPA which means this applies to ANY phone developer in the United States.
