Oh, when will they finally just stop trying to wring the Angry Bird franchise for all its worth and just give it a rest already?! I'm sooo sick of it!

Captain Nerditude Essentially, the brand value of Angry Birds has reached such a magnitude that it makes more money from things that are no the game (television show, merchandise, licensing). What this means, is like Batman, is the franchise will literally never go away now. There's just too much money to be made to let the franchise fade away.

I personally love the whole angry birds universe, While I won't play every single game they make, I love watching the little comedy videos and I have bought the little mash ups before. Pretty neat little world they have developed.

You bring up a very good point, bluexy. I think a better comparison would be Spongebob, though. Spongebob used to be a good show (like Angry Birds used to be a fun game) but once it reached its peak the people raking in the cash didn't feel they'd filled their greed enough and sold licensing off to anything that came their way and let their show (or in Angry Birds' case, games) go downhill from there.

Captain Nerditude have you played Space? I thoroughly enjoyed playing Space after missing everything after the first game.
