Insomniac Games has confirmed that they've renamed Overstrike to Fuse, as well as reworking the title since its announcement.
During his PAX Prime keynote, the developer's founder Ted Price announced an all-new intellectual property, Fuse. It was later confirmed that the latter name is the new title for Overstrike, a shooter that marks the first multi-platform game Insomniac is developing due to a publishing deal with EA Partners.
Fuse, which was showcased in a recently released screenshot as seen below, has a website available, but it's currently only showcasing a countdown clock that expires on September 12.
EA had said in June that it skipped the opportunity to show Fuse -- a first-person, four player shooter -- at E3 2012 in order to give it more polish.
