God of War: Ascension dated for Europe, special editions confirmed
PS3 exclusive set for March 13-15 release in PAL regions
Sony has announced the European release dates for God of War: Ascension, as well as confirming two special editions of the PS3 exclusive for PAL regions.
God of War: Ascension will launch in the United Kingdom on March 15 2013, three days after the game's release in North America. Australia and New Zealand will receive the title on March 14, while the PlayStation 3 exclusive releases within the rest of Europe on March 13.
The Collector's Edition and Special Edition, which were previously announced for North American retailers, has also been confirmed for European regions. The former will include:
- 8" Kratos statue
- Premium steelbook case
- Official game soundtrack (digital version)
- PS3 dynamic theme
- PSN avatar pack
- Multiplayer double XP unlock
- Pass for future DLC content
Apart from the DLC pass and figurine, God of War: Ascension's Special Edition features all of the aforementioned content stemming from the Collector's Edition.
