Raiden introduced for PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale
Revengeance version of the cyborg ninja
Sony has revealed another combatant for the upcoming PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, as Raiden was officially announced earlier today.
The cyborg ninja from the Metal Gear Solid series will be joining an already impressive cast of characters, including the recently unveiled Evil Cole McGrath. PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale will feature the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance version of Raiden, which gives gamers a chance to see him in action ahead of the latter's launch next year.
Raiden is a close-range fighter with plenty of combos at his disposal. The combos can be performed on the ground or in the air, with multiple ways to start and stop each one. You can also do plenty of reverse stabs and parries against other players looking to break a combo, which is essential to watch for in a free-for-all. Raiden's super attacks require players to use the right analog stick to slice at the other combatants, so be sure to keep your other thumb ready to go.
A new stage was also revealed, as Ape Escape's Time Station adds some old school styling to the brawler. The Time Station served as the central hub for Ape Escape and in PlayStation All-Stars we are in for an interesting time with Specter causing mayhem in the background. Attendees of PAX Prime will be able to check out all the revealed fighters and stages this weekend, plus Sony may have a few surprises to discuss.

It may be late and a complete rip off of Super Smash Bros, but the game looks pretty damn fun if you ask me. If you like SSB.
Raiden <3
That said <3 Raiden, him owning Dante showing him how a real action-hack'n'slash is done is all the more better and those combos look sick.
