Lost Planet 3 studio Spark Unlimited rumored to be working on Battlefront reboot
Trademark and domain registrations for Star Wars: First Assault has been filed.
The parent company of LucasArts had recently registered a trademark for the mysterious title. The filings for Star Wars: First Assault refers to "interactive entertainment software" for both computers and mobile phones.
Accompanying the trademark filing is LucasFilm's registration of Star Wars: First Assault domain names last week.
Lost Planet 3 developer Spark Unlimited has been rumored to be working on a "bold new take on 3rd Person Action/Horror based on an established console franchise”, believed to be a reboot to the Star Wars: Battlefront franchise.

I would be very hesitant to get excited about this one guys.
Of their two announced games, the one that sounded exactly like BF3 (action, tps, multiplayer, robots, sci-fi) turned out to be LP3. Action horror isn't exactly Battlefront...
