Angry Birds Trilogy will be getting DLC post-release
Well this is unexpected
Rovio tends to be pretty nice about extra Angry Birds content, but we're not so sure the upcoming Angry Birds Trilogy DLC will work the same way.
Details are understandably scant right now, since the Activision-published Angry Birds bundle isn't out yet, but it appears they're planning to come out with at least two DLC packs.
Given that the trilogy already costs $40 for Xbox 360 and PS3 -- and $30 for the 3DS version -- we're guessing the mystery add-on stuff won't be particularly cheap either. Well, not nearly as cheap as we've come to expect from Rovio's mobile releases. Though keep in mind the price tag covers the addition of 19 new levels, motion control with Kinect and Move, 3D support, Achievements, surround sound, animated cinematics, and 1080p graphics. Not to mention all the unlockables.
Angry Birds Trilogy will be out on September 25.
