Gears of War: Judgment will have 'Free for All' multiplayer mode

An alternative to team-based multiplayer
Usually we associate Gears of War with team play, but Epic and People Can Fly are changing up that formula in Gears of War: Judgment by introducing a "Free for All" multiplayer mode.
Details are pretty scant right now, but the mode will apparently "turn friends into enemies." Official Xbox 360 Magazine will be running a special on the game (and all the gritty details) in fall, and the November issue boasts an image of Baird and Cole engaged in a Lancer duel (below). So basically you're going to be fighting other Gears in a non-team setting, is what we'd guess.
Judgment multiplayer will be available for play at PAX Prime this coming weekend.

Tbh it looks like crap. Almost every update bar the new beast like mode has been very disappointing which is a shame. Especially the canon that even cliffy b pretty much admitted to not even caring about. I'll stick to gears 3.
